A professional Tour Guide System is a great starting point for presenters that wish to ensure their visitors understand every word. A professional Trip counselor System is ideal for indoor as well as outdoor tours of any venue. Our Trip counselor Solutions cover a broad spectrum of different options for small or larger events.

Tour Guide Systems is a useful tool to improve communication with a group of people during roaming events. We provide different Tour Guide System Solution options and to ensure we provide the right option, please find below the basic technical setup.

1. Tour Guide System Definition
Combination of a mobile audio transmitter used by the presenter/speaker(s) to make sure that the attendees/visitors (tour) are able to understand the audio via a mobile receiver, also known as the tour guide audio system.

2. Purpose of the Trip Guide system
The System is used to support mobile tours and to overcome potential background noise. It can also be used for multilingual content delivery during small events.

3. Components of Tour Guide System
A Tour counselor System consists of a mobile Audio Transmitter with an integrated microphone, a set of wireless tour guide system, and charging solutions.

4. Use of Tour Guide system
Tour Guide System can be used for indoor and outdoor events, conferences, and touring events. Globibo’s Trip counselor Systems are small and portable making it very user-friendly.

5. Use of Tour counselor system in Tourism Activities
Before the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world, tourism was the number one industry in many countries, dedicated to encouraging people to travel for pleasure or business. It was the world’s fastest expanding industry in the world, which optimistically, will definitely pick up once the world overcomes this pandemic. This industry used to have a considerable impact on the economy of many countries in terms of foreign exchange earnings and job availabilities. In fact, some countries relied solely on tourism to thrive, hence, constantly needing to upgrade this sector to attract more visitors to the country. In tourism, the tour counselor plays a very important role as he/she will guide visitors by providing information and explanation on matters relating to history, archaeology, works of arts, culture, places of interest, current affairs, etc. which may promote the country for the purpose of tourism. A trip counselor is a “frontliner” whose job is to make visitors feel welcome. A “skilled” trip counselor should be conversant in the language of the country, and if possible in other languages too. In addition, their level of general knowledge of the country should be vast so as to be able to address any questions posed by visitors.

Globibo's Tour Guide solutions cover a broad spectrum of different options for small or larger mobile events.

The basic Tour Guide or Mobile Interpretation System Infrastructure requires the right transmitters. Transmitters determine the range in which headsets can receive the audio transmission. Furthermore, most transmitters are capable of broadcasting several parallel channels, for example in an environment in which interpreters translate the presentation into different languages.

As Tour Guide Transmitters have to be portable, we also consult you in matters such as weight, broadcast reach, and battery time. Our experienced team of engineers also supports you with technical challenges or potential interferences in specific environments. We carry different Tour counselor Systems in different countries. The corresponding transmitter options have slightly different configurations based on the country and project setup.

Transmitters are also battery-powered to ensure mobility.

Key Criteria for Transmitter selection are:
  • Reach
  • Frequency

Tour Guide System Charging

Tour Guide System Charging Case Tour Guide System Charging Case Using Tour Guide Systems in larger events requires sophisticated charging infrastructure to ensure a seamless and hassle-free experience for participants and organizers. This infrastructure is needed to limit the total number of units required while maintaining the right connectivity for all participants. With our charging cases and high-speed charging concepts, we ensure that you are up and running as quickly as possible and save time and money during your event. Tour Guide Systems for wireless communications include battery-powered wireless units for the participants that last for a specific period of time. Even when all TGS units have been fully charged after several hours of use the devices have to be charged all over again. With our high-speed charging concepts, we ensure that you are not just up and running as quickly as possible, but you also save time and money during your event by reducing the number of devices used as spares or swaps. Our charging infrastructure follows industry standards by being secure and easy to handle. Not only that but our systems can also be integrated with other hardware or software solutions to create an even larger reach. The charging infrastructure works on common electricity sockets and is conveniently packaged into mobile suitcases with wheels.

Key Criteria for the Charging Cases are:

Tour Guide System FAQ

Q1. Is Tour Guide Systems One-way or two-way?
Ans: Tour guide systems are generally one-way which means it only allows guide speakers to communicate with the visitors. The visitors are given headphones on which they can listen to the instructions passed on by the guide. Although there are some two-way tour guide systems available as well.

Q2. Is it hard to use tour guide systems?
Ans: Not at all! In fact, tour guide systems are quite easy to operate. You do not need any special guidelines or instructions to use them. Anyone handling a tour guide system can comfortably work with it without any experience.

Q3. What does Globibo’s Tour Guide Systems include?
Ans: We have a complete range of tour guide systems options you need. Globibo has tour guide system headsets, transmitters, infrastructure, and microphones. We can take care of your tour guide systems requirements for any occasion.

Q4. Why would I need a Trip Guide System?
Ans: Conversations/messages can be misconstrued if they do not reach the recipient directly and without interference. A reliable Trip counselor system would be able to address voices that are too soft, situations when background noise that is too loud, or when addressing big gatherings of people.

Q5. Where and when can I use a Trip Guide System?
Ans: Two examples of places and instances where a Trip counselor System could be used are as follows. Our Trip counselor system is portable and easy to use. It can be used at the workplace, for e.g. a factory where the noise level is high that it could be difficult if you are training new staff, or showing visitors around the factory.
The system can also be used when conducting tours, indoors or outdoors (even in a bus). The Trip counselor is able to talk, without shouting to the tourists even amidst traffic.

Q6. The tour guide system seems complicating and I am not technical savvy. Is the system easy to use?
Ans: Our Tour Guide system is easy to use and you need not be technical savvy to use it. You would need to just take the microphone and switch it on. Once you are done with using it, just place the receiver in the charger/storage case for the next event.

Q7. Do we need batteries for the Trip Guide System?
Ans: Most Tour counselor systems have in-built rechargeable batteries. They are charged via standard USB cables, depending on the battery level. Specific charging trays and cases facilitate the charging of many units at the same time. Trip guide systems are optimized for low battery consumption to last for 2-3 days without charging.

Q8. What is the range of the Tour Guide system?
Ans: The transmission range of the Trip counselor System varies from model to model, based on the output power and frequency. Standard Trip counselor systems have a reliable range of 30-50 meters.

Q9. How many channels are supported in a tour guide system?
Ans: Different manufacturers offer different options in regards to the number of channels. In most projects, not more than 10 channels or languages are required. The models provided for our Clients usually have 99 channels.

Q10. How many receivers can a transmitter support?
Ans: The number of receivers that a transmitter can support varies from system to system. Our trip counselor system transmitter can support 100 to 1000 receivers simultaneously. As general benchmarks we use the following numbers: A portable transmitter supports up to 100 receivers and a stationary transmitter supports up to 10,000 receivers.

Q11. Why choose Globibo Tour Guide systems?
Ans: Our system is of stringent quality and from leading manufacturers of reliable audio systems.

Q12. What is the advantage of a tour guide system in a high noise environment?
Ans: The headset provided by the tour guide system will remove ambient noise. This will make it easier to concentrate on the work on hand.

Q13. How often do you need to charge the system?
Ans: There are no specific rules regarding the charging of the system. However, the system units are battery-powered, and the charge on all the units will last for several hours.

Q14. Can I save power during an event in a tour guide system?
Ans: Yes, you can make the units in use last longer by reducing the number of devices used. Switch off the devices you are not using and remove the spare devices.

Q15. Does the tour guide system require transmitters?
Ans: Yes, the system requires transmitters as these will determine the range to which the sound will travel. It will also select the audio channels that you can use.
