Globibo has conceptualized GLAM as an advanced method of language acquisition and we certainly use this method also for our Italian Courses. This method blends the latest knowledge in learning and teaching methods based on neuroscience with the experience of thousands of instructors and students around the world. While Italian Language Courses are aligned to other Italian Language Proficiency Tests, we also use the classification of CEFR to ensure consistency between the learning levels.

A standard Italian Language Course consists of 12 lessons of 1.5-2 hours which might not be sufficient for passing potential proficiency tests (for such tests additional preparation lessons might be required). We do offer private and group Italian Language Courses. Certainly, all Italian Language Courses are based on Globibo’s world-class Language Course Material.

Certification Programs

Italian language proficiency certification is issued on successful presentation of competency. There are 6 levels of Italian language as per Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) by the European Council. Specifically for Italian, the European Council has also defined 4 certification levels listed below:

CILS Uno – The first level (B1)
CILS Due – The second level (B2)
CILS Tre – The third level (C1)
CILS Quattro – The fourth level (C2)
