Simultaneous interpretation integrates directly with venue audio consoles by routing the floor speaker microphone signal into interpreter consoles inside soundproof booths. Interpreters translate in real time, and the translated audio is broadcast back to delegates via multi-channel digital infrared (IR) or radio frequency (RF) receivers and wireless headsets.
In simultaneous interpretation, the linguist interprets simultaneously with the speaker with only a few seconds of delay using specialized acoustic booths and transmitters, making it necessary for large multilingual conferences. In consecutive interpretation, the speaker pauses every few sentences for the interpreter to convey the message, which is typically used for press briefings, court hearings, and small bilateral business meetings.
Remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI) captures on-site audio and video feeds, streams them securely over cloud infrastructure to professional interpreters working from remote hubs, and injects the translated audio channels back into meeting platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex, as well as on-site delegate headsets.
A multi-channel silent conference setup requires individual stage microphones and audio mixers for each presenter track, multi-frequency RF/UHF transmitters, and multi-channel wireless delegate headsets. Attendees can freely toggle between different presentation channels within the same exhibition hall without acoustic interference.
Professional language and event services are governed by internationally recognized ISO standards: ISO 17100 for translation process management, ISO 18841 for interpretation services, and IEC 60914 / ISO 22259 for conference audio and simultaneous interpretation hardware.
Corporate training ROI is evaluated using standardized pre- and post-training proficiency assessments (benchmarked against CEFR), workplace task performance metrics, reduction in cross-border communication errors, and employee retention rates.
