Globibo’s Silent Conference system comprises of a discussion or conference microphone system for multiple speakers (like Digimic, CDSVAN, or mixing console), multiple transmitters (IR or FM components), and infrared/FM receivers.

A microphone management system or mixing console sources the audio signal from the speaker or presenter. Typically, there are multiple conference microphones in various areas of the room, allowing multiple speakers/presenters to speak simultaneously.
The transmitter processes the audio signals from the different speakers. It broadcasts multiple signals to wireless receivers. Each participant will have their own infrared or FM receiver. They can adjust audio volume and channel as per their interests and preferences.

Globibo’s portable interpreter booth provides working accommodation for two speakers or interpreters. The conference booths used in silent conference systems ensure a high degree of noise cancellation. The vertical modules are made of a robust outer hardwood frame surrounding a central panel.
It is further made of a soundproofing laminate material. The booth takes two low-noise tangential fans, ensuring an adequate amount of air is circulating in the booth. Additionally, each booth is equipped with two reading lamps.

The Interpreter Console is designed for the transmission of multiple channels. The control panel is divided into clearly organized function-oriented sections:

  • Monitoring
  • Speaking
  • Special functions

Via the two Monitoring functions, the interpreter can choose between an interpretation channel and the ORIGINAL channel using the RELAIS toggle switch. Volume, bass, and treble are individually adjustable via separate controls. The HEARING GUARD function draws the interpreter’s attention to the fact that the volume of his headphones is too high and that his hearing is being put under too much strain
