Transmitters are a critical component of your Tour Guide System. The Tour Guide Transmitter technology determines the range and quality in which the headsets can receive the audio stream. Furthermore professional transmitters are designed for broadcasting several parallel channels. This is used, for example, in larger groups with parallel sessions or when interpreters use different channels to render the presentation in different languages. Tour Guide Transmitters: Support
As Tour Guide Transmitters have to be portable, we also consult you on matters such as weight, broadcast reach, and battery time. Our experienced team of engineers also supports you with technical challenges or potential interferences in specific environments.
We carry different Tour Guide Systems in different countries. The corresponding transmitter option has slightly different configurations based on the country and project setup. One of the standard models is shown below:
Another high-frequency Tour Guide System Transmitter model works with a similar infrastructure.
A slightly different model is also available certain countries. The reach is shorter but it uses another save frequency for audio transmission.
Also other options / colors / frequencies are available. Frequencies might be licensed and/or limited in certain countries or venues (e.g. in factories, airports, military areas, etc). All mobile transmitters use very low output power but please verify the environment for other transmitting and receiving devices. Please contact us for more information.
The Tour Guide System Transmitter requires a microphone for the speaker. The microphones can be different based on the convenience of the speaker and setup of the event.
For more information please check out Tour Guide System Microphones.
A standard option is the neckband microphone. It allows the hands-free operation and therefore the largest comfort to the speaker. The microphone direction itself is adjustable.
Cabled TGS microphones are another option for Tours. Speakers and Tour Guides may have different personal preferences. Often the neckband microphones are more convenient but have lower audio-quality. The cabled hand-held microphones are slightly less convenient but may provide better audio-quality.
For other transmitter and wired/wireless microphone options, please contact us.
One key component of a Tour Guide System is the Headsets or Receivers used by the participants. The headsets have to be comfortable for the participants and provide the right battery lifetime and connectivity reach. With years of experience around the world, we balance Quality and Cost to offer you the best solution for your event.

Apart from microphones and headsets, the basic Tour Guide Infrastructure requires the right transmitters. Transmitters determine the range in which headsets can receive the audio stream. Furthermore, transmitters are capable of broadcasting several parallel channels, for example, in an environment in which interpreters translate the presentation into different languages.

Using Tour Guide Systems in larger events requires sophisticated charging infrastructure to limit the number of units requires while maintaining the right connectivity of all participants. With our charging cases and high-speed charging concepts we ensure that you are up and running as quickly as possible and save time and money during your event.

Tour Guide Systems come with various microphones to ensure the presenter is understood in the right environment. The right microphones are determined not only by the transmission technology but also by the presentation environment (e.g., noise factory or windy weather). Furthermore, microphones may have to be waterproof and provide an independent power supply for a specific number of hours. Read more: Tour Guide System Microphone.
